Caregiving from afar
When Elaina’s father — who lived on the opposite side of the country — was diagnosed with bladder cancer, her family’s world changed on a dime. Elaina turned to Wellthy for help in managing a new cancer diagnosis, to relocate her dad across coasts, and to set up healthcare infrastructure in his new home so that he would have everything he needed to prioritize his own health and care.

Taking care of yourself while taking care of others
In the span of just two months, Amber became the primary caregiver to three family members. The intensity of that experience brought her to Wellthy, where she worked with a Care Coordinator to set up an action plan to make sure her loved ones had all the care they needed — and that Amber was able to take care of her own health, too.

Juggling ‘sandwich generation’ care responsibilities
Shanna is raising three neurodiverse children and caring for her widowed mother — which makes her part of a growing ‘sandwich generation’ of people who are managing care for their kids alongside care for aging relatives and parents.
