Two years ago, Wellthy embarked on a mission to tackle one of the most pressing issues facing millions of caregivers: the overwhelming sense of isolation amidst juggling care for their loved ones while dealing with the pressures of everyday life. Even though 53 million people in the U.S. alone identify as caregivers, we know that caregiving often feels like a solitary, daunting journey that many feel compelled to navigate in silence.

Enter Wellthy Community – our online peer network designed to bridge the gap between caregivers and create a supportive ecosystem. Our goal was to foster a sense of connection and empower caregivers to share their experiences, challenges, and resources, making the caregiving journey a little less lonely.

As we celebrate our second anniversary, we're thrilled to see the continued growth and impact of Wellthy Community. With 6,000 members, the momentum we've built over these two years has exceeded our expectations, and the feedback from our members continues to affirm the vital role this platform plays in their lives.

A look back at the highlights from the last two years of Community engagement:

• Over 700 questions posed to our expert Community Moderators, with more than 1,300 responses providing tailored caregiving solutions;
• 50 Virtual Support Groups hosted, bringing Wellthy members together to share experiences and build connections;
• Aging and dementia continue to be the most popular discussion topics, aligning with national trends in care support with more than 41 million family caregivers providing care for aging relatives;
• Other trending discussion topics include:
  • Advice for balancing mental health and a career with caregiving duties
  • Navigating the grieving process
  • Setting boundaries with family members
  • Helping older family members avoid scams
  • Caregiving from afar

We are so happy to provide Wellthy members support that goes beyond generic answers found through a quick internet search – they're real-life scenarios discussed by those living the caregiving experience daily. Our Community comprises family caregivers and expert Moderators from Wellthy's Care Team, bringing diverse backgrounds in elder care, social work, and home health rehabilitation.

As we enter our third year, we're excited about the future. The wealth of caregiving knowledge within Community – from Wellthy's experts to the thousands of families we support daily – continues to grow. We're committed to expanding our platform, further reducing the isolation felt by caregivers, and providing a robust support system where real answers to caregiving questions are at Wellthy members’ fingertips.
